Hanne Juncher

Hanne Juncher is Director of Security, Integrity and Rule of law at the Council of Europe. She was previously the head of the Council of Europe’s action against money-laundering and other economic crime and the Executive Secretary of the Council of Europe’s Group of States against Corruption (GRECO). Hanne has also led the Council of Europe’s work on justice and legal co-operation as well as its human rights support and awareness-raising work. She previously worked in the Secretariat of the European Committee for the Prevention of Torture (CPT), and for the Ministry of Defence of Denmark on security policy and international peacekeeping. Hanne has postgraduate degrees in law from the Universities of Copenhagen and Essex.
