Paul Nemitz

Paul Nemitz is a visiting Professor of Law at the College of Europe where he teaches every year a postgraduate seminar on AI Law and Data Protection Law. He retired as Director and Principal Advisor on Fundamental Rights and the Digital Transition in the European Commission in 2025. His latest book (with Matthias Pfeffer and Jürgen Pfeffer "The open future and its enemies - How we can protect free society from AI Dictatorship" came out in June.
